In the first article we were discussing the difference between unattractive shape bodybuilders have and attractive shape fitness models have.

It’s not only fitness models, it’s action movies stars, swimmers, swimsuit and underwear models. They all have something in common. Today we are going to discover what it is and how you can get it for yourself. Model or swimmer they both have very similar body shape. Both are very lean and muscular. There is symmetry in the muscle development, but some muscle groups are more dominant. And even though those muscle groups appear to be bigger, the whole body looks very natural and symmetric, am I right?

I think that these muscles are the most important muscles you have, well from the attraction perspective. The third muscle groups are your chest muscles.

I have taken this concept a little bit further, ordered all the big muscle groups in the order of importance for physical attraction and created what I call the Muscle Pyramid.

It’s simple, you start with shoulders, back and chest and then you move on less important muscles like your arms and legs.

Here is the whole ordered list or in my words the muscle pyramid:

1. Shoulders

2. Back

3. Chest

4. Triceps

5. Biceps

6. Abs

7. Thighs

8. Calves

9. Forearms

I know that this may come as a surprise to you and it will be hard to accept that this is the order of muscles you should accept when working out. If you still doubt this concept just ask women, look at ancient sculptured for ex. Michelangelo’s David, search for some action here actor or fitness model. Or even look around yourself and in the gym. The guys that look the best and have the most attention probably focus more on shoulders and back muscles. They may have never heard about this concept, but just figured it out by themselves. This answer the question I often get which is “How do you explain that guys who look great never heard about this Muscle Pyramid thing”. It’s like dating, some guys will figure it out by themselves some don’t. The difference is whether you are willing to put the time and effort into research or not? If not good, you don’t have to. I have done this job for you, so you can save years of struggle and just start working out this way.
