What Kinobody program did you follow to achieve your transformation?
I followed Warrior Shredding Program.
What kind of workouts were you doing before following the Warrior Shredding Program? (And were you getting any results?)
I am a personal trainer and gym owners so have been following my own workout plans to best meet my needs, but after implementing this nutrition program, I have seen huge changes in strength gains and muscle mass.
As far as nutrition goes, I have followed many plans prior to this including eat all whole foods, Paleo, Intermittent Fasting for 24 hours +, Supplement programs (shakes, etc.) and have seen results with all of them. Those results included weight loss, change in body comp, more energy, better sleep etc. but body composition results in particular were hard to maintain. My other issue is that I viewed food as good or bad with these programs when I should have looked at it as a source to survive. After implementing Warrior Shred and seeing results so quickly I was blown away. I finally found a plan that I could maintain a certain body percentage, truly enjoy meals, and eat food I really want all while getting unbelievable results.
What did you like best about the Warrior Shredding Program?
What I liked best was how quickly I saw body fat drop off and saw muscle exposed after trying MULTIPLE ways to achieve the same results. It was so easy to be in a calorie deficit with the way the program was designed that I never felt deprived or that I couldn’t have the foods I wanted, and I could still be social:). It took a little planning to deliver the plan successfully, but there isn’t any plan out there that doesn’t require some work upfront if you want to see your body change.
What was the most significant change for you after using the Kinobody workouts?
I was not using the workouts. My 2 current program goals have been:
– Build more strength in the weighted chin up
– Build more strength in the single leg deadlift
How is your life better after following the Warrior Shredding Program?
I finally feel okay with food. I used to call dessert special treats or have cheat days on the weekend which emotionally and mentally is not the healthiest approach. It would leave you feeling guilty and as if you completely threw away all the hard work you had been doing in the kitchen and at the gym. This plan has allowed me to be more at peace in the way I eat and what I eat. It fuels you in the right way, gives you more energy during the day, and delivers amazing results inside and out.
What advice would you give someone who is about to follow the same program?
It may seem overwhelming at first to count macros and calories if you are unfamiliar with doing so. But Greg has designed the profiles in a way that allow you to enjoy food, boost energy, and deliver awesome strength gains. My advice is to figure out a few meals that get you your numbers, stick with those foods and go for it. Don’t overcomplicate it. Spend some time learning more about why carbs, protein and fat are required in our diet and why we need to be in a calorie deficit and it will all make perfect sense. And then just get started!
