What’s so special about Kinobody? Who is Greg O Gallagher? What was my background before I started Kinobody?
I’ll dive into those questions here in a bit… but first, let me introduce myself.
My name is Greg O’Gallagher…
And at the ripe old age of only 6, I knew one thing:
I wanted to build a downright incredible physique that was strong and powerful.
In just the last 5 years, I’ve created a massive fitness influence and I have positioned myself as one of the major fitness authorities online, all by the age of 24. Kinobody is about transforming your physique and living the life of your dreams. Then, Fitness essentially becomes a metaphor for life! When you can master training and nutrition to build an amazing body and become stronger and leaner than you could ever imagine, confidence and self belief goes through the roof.
This is precisely when everything in your life starts to fit together and amazing things start to happen! Unfortunately, up until now, building an incredible body meant countless gruesome hours in the gym each week, crazy strict diets and a very limited life outside of fitness.
The Kinobody approach is to blend fitness into your lifestyle. You’ll become leaner, stronger and better developed each week, but it won’t be at the cost of your ability to enjoy life. This is a beautiful thing and this is when you’ll fall in love with the process. Funny enough, a minimalist approach to training and a balanced and rewarding nutrition plan will actually lead to far better results than the typical extreme fitness approach. So join me on this adventure and transform your physique and live the life of your dreams!
Now, don’t just take my word for it…
You can always comb through my website, Youtube channel or Instagram page, and you’ll see thousands of comments from people sharing just how effective my tips and programs are and thanking me (when nothing else worked).
Thousands of NEW people follow my courses every month…
Everyone from teens, to actors, models, CEOs of huge companies, military personnel, and athletes. Here’s the kicker:
Even successful personal trainers, fitness coaches, doctors and strength and conditioning specialists follow and utilize my programs with absolute enthusiasm!
Kinobody Explained: Greg O Gallagher Background
Before I talk more about Kinobody, I want to give you a better picture of my story and my background.
Six years ago at 18 years old, I had to make a choice. Was I going to pursue a university education, get a business degree, and work up the corporate ladder? Or…Was I going to carve my own path and follow my passion? I knew that if I did the former, there was no fucking way I was going to be the best at my craft.
I would have been mediocre… (And well…Fuck being mediocre, right?). But with fitness, I knew I had something beautiful to share. I knew I could make a difference…
People throw around the word “passion” a lot, but “passion” doesn’t even begin to express my dedication to fitness. It is beyond passion…In fact, let’s take a look at the last couple decades of my life:
Age 6
I idolized one of the dozens of action figures I collected. He was muscled to the bone. I was awe struck. I waved up my action figure, and asked my dad, “Dad, could I ever look like that?”
He responded, “Son, of course! You just have to workout.”
That was the moment I realized we have complete control over our strength, physique and fitness…
It blew my mind!
Age 9
My father bought an adjustable dumbbell set…
I freaking loved the idea that I could do these exercises and make myself stronger and more muscular. I begged him to let me use his dumbbells.
Eventually he let me. He adjusted the dumbbells to 10 lbs. I picked them up and started doing curls. Seconds later, the blood started pumping to my arms…They swelled up! I was freaking thrilled.
I ran around my cottage showing my biceps to everyone. I mean everyone! I was so proud. I didn’t even realize it was a temporary blood pump. It didn’t matter. I was already in love with working out, and I wasn’t even 10 years old.
Age 13
It was Christmas, and I asked my mom to buy me a couple workout programs. That’s all I wanted.
But since I was too young for a credit card, I had to get my mom to buy them for me…I couldn’t wait to open up my presents! I remember being so freaking excited…
Safe to say, I got the workout programs and dug right in. I was hooked. One of the programs was the Underground Guide to Warrior Fitness by Ross Enamait. One of my early fitness mentors. Soon after, we went on a family vacation to the British Virgin Islands… I remember thinking, Holy shit, where am I going to do pull ups?
Nothing was going to put my fitness routine on hold.
I had to improvise…
Age 15
I bought a personal training textbook. I began learning everything I could about working out, since I desperately wanted to help as many people with fitness as possible.
I even asked my brothers if they’d want to workout with me…But to my dismay, they weren’t into it (yet). So I started thinking…
How can I share this stuff with more people? I started a Youtube channel, showing my workouts and progress from 13-15 years old…It began to blow up…But I was young and shy and didn’t know how to handle the attention, so I closed it down.
But that didn’t matter. Word spread around my school and I already had a bunch of people in the older grades wanting to learn from me and workout with me.
This time, I welcomed it.
Age 18
I dropped out of University. It didn’t feel right – it wasn’t the path to the life of my dreams. So I started a personal training business instead. I began to make some money, but I didn’t love it…
It still didn’t feel like I was waking up everyday to follow my dreams. But that was about to change.
One Year Later…
Age 19
I needed to get away, so I flew out to LA for a few months. I was working at a gym there and began to work on my vision.
What did I want to do? I connected with one of my most important mentors – Rusty Moore…
And shortly after, I registered a domain name: www.Kinobody.com.
All of a sudden, Kinobody was born.
For the first time in my life, I finally felt like I found my purpose: Sharing my fitness tips with the world and inspiring people all over the world. I was just 19 years old. I’m young – but I bleed fitness. And it’s clear that something in YOU recognized what I have to share is unique and game changing, and that’s why you’re here.
I Do Things MUCH Differently Than The “Status Quo”…
Hell, I go completely against it.
And as you’re starting to see, in the last decade I’ve been obsessed with building a jaw dropping physique – one that is also extremely powerful.
…So naturally, I went head-first into the trenches…Researching, reading, going through medical journals, learning from the smartest people in the industry… Testing and tweaking variables on myself and on the hundreds of clients I have coached in the last five years…
And as a result…
The Kinobody Revolution!
The Kinobody physique requires a beautiful combination of mass, definition and proportion. These three qualities must work together in harmony. You must first and foremost maintain a low body fat with a slim waist. The next step is to add muscle strategically to the body; wide back, masculine square chest, powerful delts, rock hard arms and deep dense abdominals.
Let’s not forget the legs and glutes! The legs and glutes must enhance the physique by being lean and defined not bulky and curved. The end result will be absolutely breath taking. However, this is a very difficult condition to achieve. Rarely do people ever reach the trifecta of mass, definition and proportion.
Now it’s not enough to just be another pretty physique! We must be strong, fit and capable. Aesthetics and performance must go hand in hand. Therefore we must train for strength and power and allow for muscle growth to occur naturally. As well, we must supplement this training with key mobility stretches to increase suppleness and injury proof the body.
That’s what is awesome about Kinobody: You can achieve the best results possible training only three days per week, skipping on cardio completely; all while eating the foods you love every single day to absolute satisfaction. That is Kinobody explained and why I believe the Kinobody approach is better than anything else out there.
Trust me, everything I just said is possible! It just takes a carefully calibrated and fine tuned approach.
A Lifestyle Approach to Fitness and Nutrition
Now as far as training and nutrition is concerned, it’s essential that you don’t let your training and nutrition habits take over your life. That is to defeat the very purpose.
You see fitness is meant to enhance and better your life not consume it. Mastering your health and fitness is to make staying in top shape as effortless as possible. You should never have to give up any of life’s great pleasures because you’re worried it will interfere with your training and diet.
Once you have everything dialed in, you will only need three intense workouts per week to make continual progress. As well, you will be able to maintain your shape with as little as 2 workouts per week with minimal equipment. Furthermore, once you adapt to intermittent fasting, you will be able to go hours without food.
Meaning you can spend more time getting stuff done and less time eating, preparing and cleaning. In fact I usually only eat 2-3 times per day.
Kinobody Perspective
One of the greatest realizations of my entire life was when I realized that the present moment is all we ever have. You see, I have spent the grand majority of my life living for the future. Repeatedly telling myself that I’ll be happy, fulfilled and complete when I have this and that…This is a painful way to live and it makes living hard.
What you must understand is that it’s amazing to have goals! But don’t set goals on the accord that they will make you feel happy and fulfilled when you accomplish them. This is never the case. What happens is that you get an instant rush of exhilaration and excitement but it soon evaporates. And you’re left feeling empty and incomplete. So you set your sights higher and farther and the process perpetuates itself.
I’m all for striving to better yourself! That said, the true enjoyment comes from the journey. It comes from directing your attention into the moment that you’re in. Too often in life, we’re so focused on getting somewhere that the present moment becomes reduced to a mere stepping stone into the future.
We’re projecting our happiness into the future and the crazy thing is, the future is only ever experienced as the present moment. We must let go of this deadly mentality. We must embrace the present moment and look to the past and future for practical purposes.
Enter a State of Total Acceptance
This requires you to be in a state of total acceptance. You accept the present moment and everything that it contains. You must accept where you are right now, make peace with that and then work on getting to the next level. This takes the stress out of life! And makes working towards your goals and living life far more enjoyable.
If you really want to hone this outlook then you’ll want to read my article, the truth about success and happiness. This will drastically improve all areas of life and will make people extremely drawn and connected to you.
