QUICK AND EASY BLUEBERRY FRENCH TOAST STIR FRY

THE BEST FRENCH TOAST YOU WILL EVER MAKE!!!! Fluffy and flavorful on the inside, and perfectly browned on the outside. This recipe will teach you how to make the most amazing French toast ever! This article will guide you on which bread to use and how to make the perfect batter. This recipe is also very macro friendly so you can still get super lean while eating delicious foods. I will explain exactly how to cook them and how you can modify the recipe as well. Once you make this recipe, you will never make French toast another way.

There is nothing better than knowing that you can still eat delicious treats or meals like brownies or FRENCH TOAST while still dropping bodyfat. In fact, I see this happening every day in the Movie star body coaching group. Just because visually you see something that looks “unhealthy” it doesn’t mean that it actually is. By swapping some ingredients around you can simply create a meal or dessert that’s incredibly healthy and delicious, and have friends constantly ask you “how is it possible you are eating all these foods and look like a KINO WARRIOR?”

USING LOWER CALORIE OPTIONS

To make this recipe a lower calorie meal you will need to swap your regular high calorie bread for a lower calorie option. With just a little effort, you can simply find bread at around 50 calories per slice instead of 120 calories. You will also have to use liquid egg whites and scrap the yolk or save it for another recipe. Lastly you will be swapping the butter and maple syrup for zero calorie options. It still tastes great!!! If you prefer to use butter and higher calorie syrup not a problem!! You will just need to modify the calories and macros.

MY SECRET COOKING METHOD

The traditional way to cook French toast is to simply dip the bread in the batter, let it soak then cook on a skillet. While that way is fine and dandy, if anyone knows me well, they know that I like to change things around to make them spectacular!! Just like the title states, I cook these just like a traditional stir fry. By slicing all the bread into bite size pieces then tossing them all in a bath of delicious batter, and cooking them together with fresh blueberries is genius. It cooks much faster, more evenly and the best part is when the blueberries start to burst!! The juices seep into the bread creating the most delicious thing you’ll ever eat. It’s absolutely incredible.

RECIPE TOPPINGS & MODIFICATIONS

This recipe is perfect as is! But if you’re feeling creative and you have extra calories to work with, you can add some awesome toppings to create something epic. The KINO WARRIORS absolutely love this recipe!! I have seen some unbelievable creations over the past year, here are a few photos just to show you how creative and fun this recipe is.

FAVORITE TOPPINGS

My go-to toppings are usually fresh berries and my yogurt frosting recipe which is simply 200g fat free plain non-fat Greek yogurt mixed with 10g of vanilla sugar free Jell-O pudding mix and some monk fruit sweetener or stevia. Mix that well and plop on top. This frosting is a staple in my diet and work’s exceptionally well with the French toast.

Here is a list of other toppings I love using:
-Powdered peanut butter or full fat peanut butter
-Nutella
-Low fat ice cream (tub of Halo top)
-Whip cream
-Cool whip
-Oreo cookie crumbled on top works well
-Chocolate chips

As you can see, the sky is the limit here!! Have fun with this one and get creative.

MODIFICATIONS & SWAPS TO THE RECIPE

-Gluten intolerant? Not a problem!!! You can swap the regular bread for gluten free bread.
-Swap the blueberries for your favorite fruit, banana or raspberries also work well.
-Use agave or maple syrup instead of sugar free syrup.
-Use table sugar instead of stevia.
-Add KINO COLLAGEN to the batter to make this recipe even more epic and it will also add more protein.
-Use full fat eggs if you are having trouble getting in enough fat.

BLUEBERRY FRENCH TOAST STIR-FRY

INGREDIENTS

MACROS: 71c / 3f /33p

PREPARATION

1) Slice the bread into bite size pieces and add to a bowl.

2) In another small bowl, mix in 1 cup of liquid egg whites, cinnamon, vanilla extract and sweetener.

3) Pour batter on top of the bread and mix well.

4) Spray your skillet with non-stick cooking spray and heat on medium setting.

5) Pour the bread with the batter onto the skillet and cook while mixing frequently.

6) Add in the blueberries and continue to mix until the blueberries start to burst and the juices start to seep into the bread.

7) Cook for another 3-5 minutes to get a nice brown coloring on the exterior.

8) Pour some low-calorie syrup on top and enjoy.
