My Secret to Getting to Six Percent Body Fat

Alright, alright! This is one of my most important posts to date…

The simple advice I am about to share with you has helped the hundreds of men and women I’ve shared it with get to their leanest condition ever!

Here’s the thing: when you have the goal of getting very, very lean, there’s always a plateau that sets in. It’s almost inevitable.

The cause of the plateau is due to one of three problems:

Problem #1: You Need To Follow A Better Diet To Begin With

Some diets try to pretend that calories and macros don’t matter and as long as you follow some stupid “diet rules,” you will lose weight.

Well, thankfully, we know this is absolute bullshit.

If your diet is not designed to get you to eat at a calorie deficit, then you will plateau pretty damn quickly.

Problem #2: You Need To Actually Stick To Your Diet

Sometimes, dieting can take its toll and it becomes progressively more difficult to stick to it (and continue to eat at a calorie deficit). Well, if you’re not able to hit a calorie deficit consistently, fat loss will plateau.

The reason is simple – the calorie deficit is what drives fat loss. You need to create a 3,500-calorie deficit to drop a pound of fat. Well, if you’re always messing up and overeating on your diet, obviously you won’t lose fat.

This was a huge problem for me for years; I was never able to consistently eat at a calorie deficit. I just like food way too much, haha. Well, that’s precisely why I developed the Aggressive Fat Loss Program. No other program in the world makes dropping fat fast and easy as heck.

Now, thankfully, I rarely (if ever) have issues with being able to eat at a calorie deficit. As well, pretty much anyone that follows my programs has little to no issues with eating at a deficit. I simply teach people how to do it with ease and enjoyment.

This brings me to the third reason…

Problem #3: You Need To Give Your Body A Break

You’re eating at a supposed calorie deficit, yet the scale isn’t moving as much as you’d expect.

Hell, it may not even be moving at all, or you may even GAIN weight. Let me explain what’s going on…

Weeks – or heck, even months – of eating at a continual weekly calorie deficit will cause some adaption to occur. Your leptin levels will drop, testosterone will take a hit

Essentially your body is trying to keep you alive. Its way of doing this is by slowing down your metabolism, decreasing your impulse to move, and up-regulating your appetite. This way, when you eat, you can regain lost weight easily.

This is all amazing in the event of a famine – but not so great if your goal is to be downright chiseled with a perfect set of six pack abs.

So Here’s What You Need to Do

You need to take your body out of a compulsive weekly calorie deficit and start to eat more. No, not just for ONE DAY! I mean for several days.

In fact, I read about the importance of diet breaks and maintenance periods years and years ago, but I never really bought into it. Finally, when I started to do more traveling, I kinda just decided to eat around maintenance or slightly above.

What Happened Was Remarkable

I started to look better. I felt incredible. My muscles filled up. And here’s the really beautiful thing: after 6-8 days of higher calories, when I went back to my usual diet, I leaned up faster than ever before – without any plateaus. Pretty crazy, huh?

Now it’s important that it’s a deliberate period of higher calories. If you’re trying to diet and messing up and overeating everyday, that doesn’t count since it doesn’t relieve you psychologically, nor does it help with elevated cortisol.

You must truly relax and give yourself permission to eat around 14-16 calories per pound of bodyweight.

What About Intermittent Fasting During These Breaks?

Yes, I still do intermittent fasting for these higher calorie periods. I find this way more effective, plus the freedom you get from eating high calories with intermittent fasting is amazing.

Funny enough, most people will write this simple strategy off! No one wants to increase their calories to get leaner. I get it – it’s scary. But in each and every case I told someone to do this, they experienced insane results.

Hell, if you just comb through the comment section on the Youtube video at the top of the page, you’ll see tons of comments attesting to this! This stuff is really, really powerful!

You Need To Eat More To Break Through A Plateau

To really drive this point home, I want you to think about this:

If you’re already eating at a low calorie intake and not losing weight, that’s a massive issue! Going lower in calories or doing more cardio will only exacerbate the issue.

The only option you have is to increase calories and give your body a break from lower calories. I can’t even tell you how effective this approach is, other than to just to do it and see for yourself.

If you’ve spend the last 2-3+ months trying to be in a calorie deficit, I suggest taking a full week to eat more, around 14-15 calories per pound of bodyweight.

Then, if you were to hop onto my Aggressive Fat Loss Program, within a week you’d see incredible improvements. This has been the case for me each and every time!

The other beautiful point is this – if you use higher calorie weeks regularly, you will have a much easier time avoiding fat gain when you overeat.
