Just listened to the podcast, thanks! Good gouge. Yesterday I didn’t break fast until about 6pm, steak, salad, later on some potato wedges…and some evil popcorn after that. I was freaking full and bloated and unattractive. This morning and throughout the day I am so unbloated and light on my feet, I can’t drink enough water either!
hey i love carbs for the wsp can i put my macros as 20 fat / 40 carbs / 40 protein
20 fat is getting low. I would do 25 fat, 35 protein and 40 carbs. That would be better and 35% protein is still more than enough.
Hey Greg,
Thanks for the second part. Great information in there.
I had a question regarding the Adonis Index program that Brad helped develop. Is there anytime when it would be a good idea to use a program like the Adonis system exercises, or will your GGMB program grow with my fitness journey (plus any personal fitness goals I have)?
To contextualize my question:
I bought both the Adonis (5 years ago I believe; but my consistency was off) and your GGMB programs, but compared to the GGMB program, the Adonis program is very high in volume with 5 days a week and workouts ranging from 60 minutes to 90 minutes. This is what attracted me to your program.
I did the Adonis Index I think 5 years ago as well. I like the concept behind it, but didn’t feel the workout program was effective at all. That’s also why I created my Greek God Program. Because I created something much better, (in my opinion).
Hey Greg,
Thanks for replying. I feel as if your fitness routine was the other side of the health regime for me.
What I loved about the Adonis Index was the simplicity in measurements: waist and shoulder circumferences.
GGMB on the other hand takes a similar approach to strength training, simple measurement of getting stronger on key lifts (relative strength) while reducing body fat levels.
I guess I took the best of both worlds lol.
Great video, I learnt a lot.
Regarding ‘strategically’ putting on muscle – I am currently on the WSP but have very big arms. Always have! However, my chest development is poor. Do you think I should maybe swap out an arms exercise for an additional chest exercise once per week?
Yes that’s a good strategy, for sure.
