Don’t Become Just Another Ugly Bodybuilder – Guest Post from Gregor Vaclav
This is the first article of a three-part article series on building an attractive body that women find irresistible. Today we are going to talk about different body shapes, discuss which ones are attractive and which are not. Then you will learn what goal you should set up to build the one body shape that is the most attractive to women.
Let’s dive in.
So, you work out. Do you progress? Do you have the results you desire? Do you look the way you want? Not only that, do you get compliments from other people? Do you have girls making excuses to touch you? Do you have attractive body?
No, you don’t?
Then you are doing something wrong.
The reason why you are not succeeding is probably that you are focusing on wrong goal and have false beliefs about how you should look and what is attractive on men.
Let’s see how you can correct this.
Fitness Model body Shape vs. Professional Bodybuilders & Powerlifters
When you first started being interested in strength training and improving your physical look you probably took bodybuilders as your role models, hell you maybe still do. If this is so, you definitely need to keep reading. Why? Because today we are talking about attraction and bodybuilders are anything, but not sexually desired by women. With whom do the most beautiful women hang out? Models, actors and other likes or bodybuilders and powerlifters?
You guessed it right.
The most gorgeous women hang out and sleep with Hollywood actors, fashion models, fitness models, underwear models etc.
Guys spend decades trying to get big and bigger than everybody else. They associate largeness with power, influence and dominance. This is true, but only to certain extend.
Attractive body is about more than just being big. The key factor that is missing in this equation is body shape.
Body Shape Matters
If you don’t believe me and you still are influenced by the fitness marketing then print out a photo of a bodybuilder like Jay Cutler and some photo of male underwear model and go out and ask 10 different attractive women who do they prefer more and who would the more likely have sex with. I can guarantee you that all ten will tell you the same thing and I think you already know who will they pick out.
Seriously, try this experiment, it might be fun, you might get a new perspective on this and meet some great women.
Anyway, body shape matters and not every shape you can build is attractive. There are several parts to it.
Let’s break them down.
You Need to be Lean
If you are not lean, then it doesn’t matter if you have more muscles than your lean friend, because if your muscles are covered by an excess body fat, they are not visible and you just look fat and your physique is far from what a woman would call an attractive body. You may look somehow good in a shirt, but when you take it off, you are just another average fat guy, who looks like doesn’t know how to take care of his appearance. Put simply you need to Stop Failing at Fat Loss as soon as possible. This is a problem many guys encounter in their journey towards good looking body. I understand that it may be hard for you to accept this fact and I know that it will be even harder to lose this fat, but if you desire good looking body, it’s a step you need to take. Start eating less calories today and set a goal of becoming a leaner guy. You don’t have to worry about losing your already hard gained muscles, because if you will work out along the way and have at least some protein intake you won’t lose a pound of your muscles, quite the opposite you will probably even gain some more. And even you won’t gain any extra muscle, you will still look better; because once you are around 4-7% of bodyfat you create an illusion that you are much bigger and masculine than you actually are in reality. That is a power of clear muscle definition.
It’s important to break free from the myth that you can lose muscles while dieting, because that is not true. Your body will always burn fat first and if you don’t have less than 3% of body fat, which you probably don’t, then you WILL NOT lose muscles. Muscles are not an effect of eating, they are a result of training, so as long as you keep training them, they will keep growing.
However, you need to start losing the fat that is covering them, because otherwise how do you expect them to be visible? You need to also know where you currently are with your muscle development.
Girls are physically attracted to you on two levels – consciously and subconsciously. If you are lean and your muscles are visible, it triggers a subconscious response they can’t control and they will feel drawn towards you and be more opened and attracted to you even before you open your mouth.
This will project into their behavior and they will start acting friendly, become opened for conversation, try to escalate things, talk about sex, flirt with you right from the beginning, become the sexual aggressor and the list just goes on. On a conscious it might be very different, it matters on how much the girl is in control and aware of her sexual desires and on her experience, but there will definitely be some reaction towards you.
However, if you are overweight then nothing really happens on either of those levels. You will look like every other average guy who doesn’t work out and doesn’t pay attention to his diet.
Get this handled and you will get results immediately.
You Need to Be Masculine
What women are attracted on physical level are naturally big and visible muscles. They make you dominant, authoritative, attractive, desirable, fit and healthy looking. These are physical traits of male who has built an attractive body. That is why you need to be masculine. If you are not masculine and lean on top of that, you are skinny or fat you don’t come from authority and nobody takes you seriously. If you are skinny you will have troubles demonstrating dominance. Skinny guys look unhealthy, ridiculous and weak. You want the opposite healthy, fit, dominant, strong and powerful look that sets the tone of you being in charge of every situation in ever social venue right after walking in.
Set Your Body Shape Goal Wisely
On some level most of the people and most of the guys understand this. However, what they miss is that you need to choose your body shape goal carefully. Professional bodybuilder, overweight powerlifters and steroid freaks are not attractive, so don’t become one of them. Instead, lean out, focus on building muscles and build shape that is more like the one that Hollywood actors, natural fitness models and underwear models have built.
The benefits are countless and the reaction you will get from others, especially women, will be amazing.
In three days you can look forward to a second article, this time we will be talking about how can you leverage your time spend in the gym, what is the most important thing you need to focus on in your workouts and specifically which muscles make you look dominant and subconsciously attractive to women, little hint here – it’s not your biceps.

If the author of this article had opened a book or research study on the subject of physiology and how it’s affected by nutrition, he would quickly learn that he is an idiot. If he is the type of idiot that disregards academic study but at least had any real world experience on the topic, he would realize once again that he is an idiot. His only source of knowledge seems to be that he got down to 12% body fat and gained a small amount of muscle, getting his arms to a grand 13 inches each. This allows his to make claims that the body doesn’t “lose muscles” credibly? No. The body might not discard muscle tissue when you’re 12% body fat and have 13 inch arms like the author does, but if you have any considerable amount of size or leanness (as most fitness models do), muscle/strength loss occurs fairly easily.
He is right about women finding fitness models more attractive than Jay Cutler, but Jay is an elite, with the best of the best genetics for gaining size. Most people wouldn’t look even close to him even if they took the same amount of steroids that he takes or more. In fact, most people will probably be the size of the fitness models he keeps raving about, who are twice the size of the author. Zyzz is twice the size of the author and has admitted to steroid use, yet men and women think he looks amazing. The author also has a picture of Gregg Valentino at the top of his article. Gregg Valentino’s size is a result of neither steroids nor body building, but of synthol – artificial oil that enlarges your muscles when injected into specific sites. I could go on and on about why this article is stupid, but it should be evident to the author that he dun goofed.
Gregor Vaclav; If you value learning and intelligence, take a physiology or biomechanics class. If you value real world experience, train like a body builder and perhaps one day (probably not) you will look like one of the fitness models of which you are so sycophantic. If you at all value the intelligence of anyone naive that might look at this article, take the goddamn thing down, because all it’s doing is leading people to believe that they can accidentally become Jay Cutler or Gregg Valentino. It’s because of you that women in the gym are using pink dumbells to do stupid shit instead real exercises like squats and deadlifts..
hmm….yeah even “fintess models” are probably deadlifting/ Military Pressing and squating heavy. That’s a given. But where did the author say only use light weights? I missed that bit.He does make sense in saying you need to pay attention to certain shapes and levels of leaness. Something most “bulkers” and power lifters do not seem to care about. I think what he;s saying is what’s the point in lifting 250kg+ or having A 50 inch chest if you look worse for it
You are right in most people underestimate how hard it is to gains/tone muscle.
Nutrition and exercise: Nutrition 70%, exercise 30%. Most people have it the other way around.
