Understanding fasting

I’ve been talking about intermittent fasting, publicly, on Kinobody, for the last 7 years! In that time, I’ve seen so many amazing results and positive testimonials.

Now interestingly enough, I’ve had a lot of people ask me how to handle their friends and family that don’t understand intermittent fasting and want intermittent fasting explained to them.

Well in this video/podcast, I show you how you can educate your friends and family and really anyone for that matter, about intermittent fasting.

Believe it or not, there is a right and wrong way when going about educating your friends and family when they want fasting explained to them.

When you’re able to communicate the right way about your intermittent fasting practice, people will accept it and they’ll even be curious to try it out themselves.

Without further ado, let’s outline what you’ll learn in this podcast on intermittent fasting explained…

Hey Greg, I’ll check out the video after work, but I have low blood sugar and I get really spacey when I don’t eat. Eventually I get cranky and angry when I don’t eat, and no one wants to be around me.

I eat small meals 5x/day to keep my blood sugar normal, but I am interested in IF. I’ve dropped from 21% bodyfat to 9%, but I’ve plateued.

Dan, have you ever considered Greg’s approach. 2 meals/day?! :) it may take some time to get used to it

Great vid Greg, I always tend to not let people know I skip breakfast purely to avoid the mindless, ill informed comments such as that its “the most important meal of the day”.

I fast through until around 1pm each day, including my workout days (I lift at 6:30am before work)…would you suggest keeping it this way or maybe move my 1st meal a bit earlier on workout days? I’m inclined to keep going as i’m still adding weight to my lifts every week so it can’t be hampering my recovery too much right?!

    All the best mate,
    Jim

I would keep it as is! Break your fast at 1pm… That’s perfectly fine.
